Lockdowns Do Not Control the Coronavirus: The Evidence, by the AIER Staff

STRAIGHT LINE LOGIC

It’s out of fashion today, but here’s a compendium of articles based on real-life studies and evidence that lockdowns are ineffectual and, given the economic damage they inflict, counterproductive. From the AIER Staff at aier.org:

The use of universal lockdowns in the event of the appearance of a new pathogen has no precedent. It has been a science experiment in real time, with most of the human population used as lab rats. The costs are legion.

The question is whether lockdowns worked to control the virus in a way that is scientifically verifiable. 1. And how about what appears to have worked so well in NZ? And maybe we should be asking ourselves why we are defending the economic system when the reality is it is grossly unjust, it continually favours the already obscenely wealthy; and is is responsible for much of the mayhem (US industrial military complex – exhibit 1) and environmental degradation humanity imposes everywhere; through the need for constant economic growth. It appears to me in NZ that the lockdown we had here has visibly worked, impressively well; and that if the current economic system needs to roll over and die, then let us not defend it.

    1. I personally don’t defend the economic system kina55, although I guess you are addressing the wider population. My blog is very much against it, Rogernomics being the starting point of all that we now have. Re the lockdown, our stance here is very much about the independent research of thousands of medical professionals … you would need to read back through the posts to glean that. The Barrington Declaration would be a good start. Lockdowns have killed more people than the virus sadly. Last I heard they are not telling us the suicide stats here but in other countries (today I posted one) those stats are exponentially high. Very sad indeed.
