TPPA EXCLUSIVE: An open invitation from Professor Jane Kelsey

maxresdefault-768x576(The Daily Blog) Ever heard Lori Wallach talk about the stark realities of US politics on the TPPA? If you have, you won’t want to miss her again! If you haven’t, this is a once in a lifetime chance to hear her on how the US and its corporate lobby stitched us up, and sold out ordinary Americans as well. (for Lori’s bio – see here)

Can the US Congress stop the deal? Will the US Congress stop the deal?

What happens if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency? Or Donald Trump (assuming that is worse … which it has to be)

Are US politicians serious that they will rewrite the deal after it is signed by setting rules for ‘implementation’? What would that mean for Kiwis?

Lori is arriving Tuesday morning for a speaking tour starting Tuesday night 7pm at the Auckland Town Hall in the lead-up to the planned signing in Auckland on 4 February. Then off around the country to Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin in a whirlwind tour. Sponsors (so far) are Its Our Future, ActionStation, and New Zealand Council of Trade Unions, as well as great local anti-TPPA groups.

The less publicized hazards of wind farms

Here are two articles brought to my attention by a local person who lives in the vicinity of Project Central Wind.

These farms that are promoted as green and healthy are, when truth is known, far from either. Search the articles here and on Youtube … you will find verification of this. They are heavily subsidized by governments and bring many health problems.

Here we have added difficulties highlighted, one being hazards for light aircraft and a death trap for bats. It’s also known they have a propensity to kill birds, understandably.

Pilots warn of a disaster as wind farms flourish

Wind turbines pose risks for light aircraft – an accident waiting to happen

“Light aircraft pilots have warned it is “just a matter of time” before wind farms cause a “disastrous” accident in Scotland.

Small planes along with helicopters, gliders, microlights and other hobbyists make up the biggest user group of the UK airspace in terms of low level flying and contribute some £3billion to the economy supporting close to 40,000 jobs.

Member organisations admit the fast-growing renewables sector has created some “fairly significant” issues which they have fought hard to resolve.

Their main concerns relate to downwind turbulence from the turbine blades plus problems with visibility especially in poor conditions…”

The fast pace of development mean maps and charts are often well behind of the size of existing farms and new developments with anenometer masts springing up to scout potential development sites.

Bats Killed in Large Numbers at United States Wind Energy Facilities

BioScience – Mark A. Hayes – December 1, 2013  (windaction.org)

Bat fatalities due to wind turbines

“The development and expansion of wind energy facilities is a key threat to bat populations in North America. Dead bats are being found underneath wind turbines across North America, and bat fatalities have been documented at almost all of the wind facilities at which thorough bat surveys have been conducted. This paper examines the scale of the problem. The abstract and conclusions of the paper are provided below. The full paper can be accessed at the links on this page.

Abstract (from bioscience.oxfordjournals.org)

Bats represent a substantial contribution to mammalian species diversity and ecosystem processes in North America, including their role in performing important economic service functions. The development and expansion of wind energy facilities is a key threat to bat populations in North America. Dead bats are being found underneath wind turbines across North America, and bat fatalities have been documented at almost all of the wind facilities at which thorough bat surveys have been conducted. The results….”

NASA Confirms “Chemical Trails” Are Atmospheric Release of Heavy Metals

Here we have proof chemtrails (related to the practice of geoengineering) are not conspiracy. A DoD document reveals their own terminology ‘chemtrails’…

Interview with Kevin Kamps, radioactive watchdog, Beyond Nuclear

More on what you are not being told about the nuclear disaster that far out did Chernobyl. In Boise Idaho, measurements by the US Federal Government of radioactive iodine in rainwater is at 242 times safe drinking water permissable levels. The industry continues to bury the truth.

Published on Jun 24, 2015

“Kevin Kamps, Beyond Nuclear joins Thom. The worst nuclear accident in recent history wasn’t unexpected – that’s according to an internal document recovered from Tokyo Electric Power – also known as Tepco. Tepco originally claimed that it had done everything possible to protect the nuclear power plant at Fukushima. But we now know that Tepco executives had discussed the need to build up coastal defenses back in 2008 – two and a half years before the tsunami hit Fukushima and caused a triple meltdown.

EPA sends Navajo polluted water in OIL TANKS — Animas spill from FRACKING WASTEWATER?!

Shocking revelations by dutchsinse on Youtube!

Published on Aug 21, 2015

“PLEASE! Get this out to the people of the Navajo Nation, to the people of Colorado + New Mexico, to state representatives, and NATIONAL Government (Senators and Congressmen).

Full website post covering this story with all the links shown in the video here:

http://dutchsinse.com/8212015-epa-del…

I stand behind these findings , and the people of the Navajo Nation need to compare the Animas river pollution to oil well / fracking wastewater injection chemicals IMMEDIATELY.

This wastewater delivery looks like an attempt to spread the chemicals on purpose — to cover up the wastewater in the Animas coming from the nearby Oil / Gas / Wastewater disposal wells located all around Durango Colorado (each well containing millions of gallons of toxic water . Thousands of wells nearby the location in question).

In my assessment, most likely one of the wastewater injection wells gave way, since NASA / NOAA are already studying the same area due to a HUGE methane leak causing a pocket of methane over the whole 4 corners region.

This same “leaking” injection well operation is now the area where the Animas river has been polluted. The “Gold Mine” story might just be that — a STORY made up.. not based in actual reality.
_____

The Environmental Protection Agency caused a toxic water spill into the Animas river, which feeds the Navajo Indian Nation with water.

The spill was blamed on an “old Gold mine” which somehow had toxic water released by the EPA during an inspection of a well / mine location.

When the EPA did their inspection of this supposed “Gold King Mine”, they somehow released millions of gallons of toxic water into the Animas river. The toxic spill thus cut off the water supply to the people down stream.

_____

Fracking wastewater injection wells are quite possibly the REAL cause of this waste spill by the EPA since the area is leaking methane to the point where NASA / NOAA are studying the area currently (2015).

Massive leaks in the huge fracking / oil pumping operation have been detected.. thus if gas is leaking from these wells, no doubt the waste water which they inject under pressure is also being released.

I’m venturing a guess that if the water in the Animas was tested , and you looked for oil pumping / gas well operation chemcials .. that you’d find out a giant WASTEWATER DISPOSAL WELL must have broke when the EPA was inspecting it.

Was it a Gold mine, or was it a large wastewater disposal well?

Since there are THOUSANDS of wastewater disposal wells, oil wells, and frack wells , and only ONE Gold Mine .. the chances of this giant release of wastewater coming from a wastewater well are much higher than a “Gold Mine” being the culprit.

One culprit cannot be sued, or blamed (the Old Gold Mine).. the OTHER culprit (the fracking injection well / oil pumping operations) are capable of being legally held responsible.

Could it be that they sent these polluted tanks of water in the hopes the Indians would spread it out across their land, and then the EPA would have an excuse for all the fracking / oil pumping injection chemicals to be across the Animas river?!

People in the Indian reservations need to immediately compare the Animas pollution water to known Oil / Gas well drilling injection chemicals.

I’d be willing to bet that we’d find out this “spill” is from a fracking / injection / wastewater operation as opposed to an “old gold mine”.

Why are NASA / NOAA out in the same area studying leaking gas wells? I think it is obvious the two are related.”

Feeding the hungry … France makes it illegal for grocery stores to waste food

Here is an article from France on the sensible recycling of food waste…

“1/3 of the food currently produced worldwide is thrown away every year.. to help prevent this travesty, France just passed new legislation banning stores from purposefully ruining food … requiring all supermarkets 400 square feet or larger to donate unsold food to charity, for animal feed, or for farming compost.”

In recent weeks we’ve had some intriguing contrasts on this front. In NZ and the UK private organizations have been redistributing waste supermarket food to the needy, then in a town in Spain, we have a Mayor of 35 years seizing food from supermarkets to redistribute ‘Robin Hood’ style, to the poor. He sees speculation in food, and rightly so, as a disgrace. Food he says, is a right. This Mayor has also put the clamps on housing speculation and folks there in Marinaleda can own their own home for $19 a month… so long as it’s never sold for profit.

“We need to rethink our values, the consumer society, the value we place on money, selfishness and individualism,” says their mayor, Juan Manuel Sánchez Gordillo.

bread-793852_1280Then in the US of America a young woman has been sacked for giving free cafeteria lunches to children who had no lunch money (see video at the link). Seventy one cities in the US have been trying to pass ordinances forbidding the donation of food to the homeless.

” … 90-year-old World War II veteran Arnold Abbott made national headlines when he got busted by cops in Fort Lauderdale, Florida twice in one week—for giving out food to homeless people. While serving a public meal on November 2, Abbott told the Sun-Sentinel, “a policeman pulled my arm and said, ‘Drop that plate right now,’ like it was a gun.”

What’s the planet coming to? Generosity being criminalized … for what? Much of the food being denied the poor is only headed for landfills anyway. Hopefully other nations will follow the lead on this and practice some civil disobedience to get the message across. It’s not as if the poor will be shopping elsewhere and affecting profits. And profits are the underlying agenda in all of this. Take an hour out and watch ‘The Corporation’ documentary. You will learn from that that profits are the bottom line for corporations. They are not about helping people and the insanity of many of them needs to be challenged. Preventing people from feeding the poor simply isn’t right.
