Check out our Glyphosate pages for further info & research links on this poison that we’ve been told for decades is harmless as dish liquid. Kiwis love it and spray it everywhere … while refusing to examine the independent research … all with official approval. EnvirowatchRangitikei
For example, a secret high-level dioxins working group at the EPA acknowledged thatdioxins are extraordinarily poisonous chemicals – yet the agency suppressed the fact that dioxins were found in everyday products such as diapers and coffee filters. And, the EPA suppressed its own research that found high levels of dioxin in environmental samples and human breast milk following routine use of 2,4-D and 2,4,5-T (Agent Orange) by the federal Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management.
(NaturalHealth365) A massive cache of documents and correspondence between regulatory agencies and the chemical industry has now seen the light of day – and it exposes a stunning pattern of collusion and deceit. Over 200,000 documents – including study summaries, internal secret memos, meeting minutes and sworn testimonies – attest to the fact that both industry and regulators were aware of the extreme toxicity of many chemical products, and conspired to hide this information from the public.
The explosive papers became news on July 26, when the online publication The Intercept published an interview with author and archivist Carol Van Strum. To learn more about the incredible pattern of corruption and collusion, read on.
Undeniable evidence: Federal agencies and chemical manufacturers were “in bed” together
Naturally, the most obvious question is, ‘who are the major players in the Poison Papers?’ The answer reveals many people at the highest levels of government regulation and corporate industry.
Federal regulatory agency sources implicated in the scandal include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the U.S. Department of Defense. The chemical manufacturers include Dow, Monsanto, DuPont and Union Carbide.
In addition, the toxic chemicals referenced in the documents include 2,4-D, Dicamba, permethrin, atrazine and Agent Orange – all of which continue to be manufactured and sold. In fact, it’s “business as usual” for 2,4-D, which has just been authorized by the EPA for use on Dow’s new GMO 2,4-D-tolerant soybeans – in spite of the fact that it is contaminated with dioxins.
To be clear, the Poison Papers are not just testament to deception and collusion that occurred in the past – they also reflect betrayals of the public that are ongoing to this day.
“I’m a scientist at Monsanto for 20 years and this has been the molecule I’ve studied all of those years and I’m confident of the data behind it.” -Donna Farmer, Monsanto Toxicologist
Corporate media stopped connecting dots long ago. For these usual suspect media players, important stories come and go without being spotlighted. New information appearing on the radar that cuts against the grain is quickly shuffled off stage into obscurity.
Appearing on the award-winning talk show The Doctors on May 2015, Monsanto Toxicologist Donna Farmer went head-to-head with founding executive director of The Institute for Responsible Technology (IRT) Jeffrey Smith. During that time, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Monsanto on Cancer (IARC) released its findings labeling Monsanto’s Round-Up herbicide product as “probably carcinogenic to humans (Group 2A).” Farmer had this to say:
“I’ll give you an example of one of the studies. They actually injected the Round-Up formulation into the abdomen of the animals and they did have an effect. But that’s not a relevant route of exposure for somebody who is going to be spraying that herbicide. So that’s what we look at and the regulatory agencies look at and, like the other bodies at the World Health Organization. IARC only looks and says, “If I inject it there’s a hazard.” So there’s different ways we look at the data.”
The Environmental Protection Agency official who was in charge of evaluating the cancer risk of Monsanto Co.’s Roundup allegedly bragged to a company executive that he deserved a medal if he could kill another agency’s investigation into the herbicide’s key chemical.
The boast was made during an April 2015 phone conversation, according to farmers and others who say they’ve been sickened by the weed killer. After leaving his job as a manager in the EPA’s pesticide division last year, Jess Rowland has become a central figure in more than 20 lawsuits in the U.S. accusing the company of failing to warn consumers and regulators of the risk that its glyphosate-based herbicide can cause non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
“If I can kill this I should get a medal,” Rowland told a Monsanto regulatory affairs manager who recounted the conversation in an email to his colleagues, according to a court filing made public Tuesday. The company was seeking Rowland’s help stopping an investigation of glyphosate by a separate office, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, that is part of the U.S. Health and Human Service Department, according to the filing.
A federal judge overseeing the glyphosate litigation in San Francisco said last month he’s inclined to order Rowland to submit to questioning by lawyers for the plaintiffs, who contend he had a “highly suspicious” relationship with Monsanto. Rowland oversaw a committee that found insufficient evidence to conclude glyphosate causes cancer and quit last year shortly after his report was leaked to the press.
Roundup, the product Kiwis slather over everything it’s considered ‘so safe’ you can drink it. Slathered over public walkways, parks, reserves, back yard gardens, lawns, roadsides, ditches where your water runs, even school playgrounds while the children play. I’ve witnessed it with my own eyes! No protective gear (might scare the public to wear a mask I’ve been told), no warning so you may walk on it without knowing. Take note folks and read the independent research. This product was tested for release on you the unsuspecting public by none other than the folks who made it! The same folks who said DDT was safe … who produced Agent Orange that just goes on destroying even today…. so here is more research on the effects on your liver. (NaturalHealth365) Natural health experts have long warned of the dangers of glyphosate, the herbicide found in Roundup weed killer. Listed as a “probable human carcinogen” by the World Health Organization, glyphosate has been linked with autism, ADHD, birth defects and cancer – among other devastating effects.
Now, recent research has yielded a bombshell finding – a shocking connection between glyphosate and liver damage, with the damage resulting from low environmentally relevant doses that correspond to the amounts permissible in tap water.
Guilty as charged: Roundup linked to serious health problems, study says
In a study published last month in Nature, researchers found that Roundup causes nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in rats, even when given in infinitesimal doses of 4 nanograms per kilogram – a dosage 437,000 times below levels permitted in the United States.
This is excellent news! A long time coming. Wake up people and see beyond the surface stories you are told … this NZ man who is spraying the stones in the course of his work day is wearing no protective equipment for his hands or face, as is the custom with most people who use it here. One contractor I questioned on this matter told me he didn’t wear a mask because it would alarm the public! Let’s just not frighten them because after all if any of us gets cancer nobody will be able to prove how it happened anyway. Farmers swear by it and their Agricultural texts recommend spraying their fields with it … this means it is likely in your non-organic meat. One in three people now get cancer … time to join some dots people. And this is not the only product that carries similar health risks, there are many more in our environment … we are bombarded from many angles. Read our Cancer pages.

In March, 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a research arm of the World Health Organization (WHO), reclassified glyphosate as a “probable carcinogen” (Class 2A).1,2
The decision was based on “limited evidence” showing the weed killer can cause non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and lung cancer in humans, along with “convincing evidence” linking it to cancer in animals.
The IARC is considered the global gold standard for carcinogenicity studies, so its determination was of considerable importance. It’s also one of the five research agencies from which the OEHHA — the California agency of environmental hazards — gets its reports to declare carcinogens under Prop 65.
Monsanto has vigorously pursued a retraction of the IARC’s damning report,3 to prevent California from pursuing a cancer warning on Roundup and other, newer weed killers in the pipeline, designed for use on the company’s latest genetically engineered (GE) crops.
Monsanto Forced to Put Cancer Warning on Roundup
Their efforts have so far failed, and Fresno County Superior Court Judge Kristi Kapetan recently struck another nail in the company’s coffin, striking down Monsanto’s attempt to overturn California’s 2015 ruling to require Prop 65 warnings on glyphosate.4,5,6
While Kapetan has yet to issue a formal decision on the matter, Monsanto says it will challenge the ruling, if upheld. As reported by LA Progressive:7
“California would be the first state to order this level of labeling if this decision by the California Carcinogen Identification Committee is sustained by further court action.
Monsanto previously sued the nation’s foremost agricultural producing state by filing court motions to the effect that California’s carcinogen committee … had illegally based their decision for mandatorily requiring the warnings on “erroneous” findings by an international health organization …

“Experts warned that eating this GE wheat could lead to significant changes in the way glucose and carbohydrates are stored in the human body, which could be potentially deadly for children and lead to serious illness in adults. Yet despite the seriousness of these findings, regulators are ignoring and dismissing such warnings. According to the Institute of Science in Society,10 the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has approved at least five such GE food products already.”
The more we learn about genetically engineered (GE) foods, the clearer the dangers become. I’ve warned you of the potential dangers of GE foods for many years now, as I was convinced that the artificial combining of plants with genes from wildly different kingdoms is bound to cause problems.
As the years roll on, such suspicions are becoming increasingly validated. In recent weeks, we’ve not only learned that GE corn is in no way comparable to natural corn in terms of nutrition, we’re also discovering the ramifications of dousing our crops with large amounts of glyphosate — the active ingredient in Monsanto’s broad-spectrum herbicide Roundup.
GE crops are far more contaminated with glyphosate than conventional crops, courtesy of the fact that they’re engineered to withstand extremely high levels of Roundup without perishing along with the weed.
A new peer-reviewed report authored by Anthony Samsel, a retired science consultant, and a long time contributor to the Mercola.com Vital Votes Forum and Dr. Stephanie Seneff, a research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has fortunately received quite a bit of mainstream media attention.
Their findings, along with the development of another breed of “gene silencing” crops, makes the need for labeling all the more urgent, and the advice to buy certified organic all the more valid.
Monsanto who like to present themselves as the benevolent corporation that is set to solve the hunger problems of the world … is imprisoning people for sharing their seed?
Their previous foray into that department with the production of Golden Rice that was genetically modified and supposed to be enriched with Vitamin A didn’t cut the mustard it seems.
Don’t be fooled, this company is about everything butfeeding the hungry. Corporations have no qualms about lying and their uppermost concern is profits not people. This is what will happen if they get their foot in the door of your country. Unfortunately for NZ the foot got in the door decades ago with Roundup which farmers here love & won’t have a bar of any independent research about in my experience. Hence according to directions it’s sprayed all over fields and eaten by stock so non organic meat has to be full of it. That being in addition to GE food which is in our food chain Kiwis, no small wonder tests everywhere are finding it in breast milk and urine even. To have your water tested here is in the vicinity of $550 so that is fairly cost prohibitive. They have all bases covered. Your only real out is eat organic. An expensive exercise. Or grow your own without pesticides.
So back to the topic of the seeds, currently we are allowed to keep our seed but seeds for years have been treated so as they won’t reproduce (hybridized). Which is why it’s important to get heirloom and save that seed for future years when they havehybridized and patented everything. You will have to buy their seed & saving it will be pointless or illegal or both.
And go figure on the ‘feeding the world’ claims. Watch the featured video on Monsanto and what they are really about.

Enjoy the video! You’ll be shocked at the lengths this company go to to protect their profits. They even have their own seed police. And read what the Tanzanian people have been subjected to by the world bullies.
READ THE ARTICLE ON TANZANIA:
Tanzanian farmers are facing heavy prison sentences if they continue their traditional seed exchange
In order to receive development assistance, Tanzania has to give Western agribusiness full freedom and give enclosed protection for patented seeds. “Eighty percent of the seeds are being shared and sold in an informal system between neighbors, friends and family. The new law criminalizes the practice in Tanzania,” says Michael Farrelly of TOAM, an organic farming movement in Tanzania.
‘If you buy seeds from Syngenta or Monsanto under the new legislation, they will retain the intellectual property rights. If you save seeds from your first harvest, you can use them only on your own piece of land for non-commercial purposes. You’re not allowed to share them with your neighbors or with your sister-in-law in a different village, and you cannot sell them for sure. But that’s the entire foundation of the seed system in Africa’, says Michael Farrelly.
Under the new law, Tanzanian farmers risk a prison sentence of at least 12 years or a fine of over €205,300, or both, if they sell seeds that are not certified.
‘That’s an amount that a Tanzanian farmer cannot even start to imagine. The average wage is still less than 2 US dollars a day’, says Janet Maro, head of Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania (SAT).

“Golden Rice”: A technology for creating Vitamin A deficiency.
Golden rice has been heralded as the miracle cure for malnutrition and hunger of which 800 million members of the human community suffer.
Herbicide resistant and toxin producing genetically engineered plants can be objectionable because of their ecological and social costs. But who could possibly object to rice engineered to produce vitamin A, a deficiency found in nearly 3…
Don’t mess with Monsanto Co. That is the message being delivered right now by the agrichemical industry as it makes a full fledged assault on the team of international cancer scientists who dared to declare cancerous connections to the widely used herbicide called glyphosate, the chief ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup brand.
Industry swagger is on full display in Washington where Monsanto and its friends at CropLife America are driving efforts to cut off U.S. funding for the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) after IARC scientists declared glyphosate a probable human carcinogen in March 2015. The industry is also demanding that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) fully repudiate the IARC classification and green-light continued use of glyphosate herbicides, which spell billions of dollars in sales annually to Monsanto and the agrichemical brethren.
The EPA has been evaluating glyphosate as part of a re-registration review process for more than five years, and was initially expected to complete that review last year. The EPA then said it would complete the review by the end of 2016, and now says it will be 2017 before it offers a final report.
Remember those rats in the header image were fed for two years on very diluted Roundup plus GE corn which is laced with Roundup being sprayed on it during its growing time. Yes this supposedly harmless herbicide is IN your GE food which of course isn’t labeled because they consider you don’t need to know, it being so safe.
