  1. One of my hedgehogs I have has lungworm and wasn’t doing well, and had even stopped eating. He was definitely over taking his antibiotic for it so I mixed in some manuka honey just yesterday so he wld get it down his little throat – well what a transformation…His nose isn’t runny anymore, he ate last night and is a lot more alert today plus I haven’t heard his horrible lungworm cough….and looked forward to me giving his meds in the syringe with the honey in it.

  2. Unfortunately all honeys are not pure honey. Depends on where they are sourced from they may contain glysophates, 1080 or brodafuacom and other poisons used for killing, rabbits, rats and stoats.

    1. Very true Merv. Thanks to our authorities’ love affair with poisons & who stop their ears to our protests on that. I love Dr Meriel Watts’ expose of all that. We have hundreds of poisons fired at us from all directions.
