The Myth Of American Capitalism Exposed: Competition Is Dying As The Biggest Corporations Gobble Up EverythingVibrant competition is absolutely essential in order for a capitalist economic system to function effectively.

Unfortunately, in the United States today we are witnessing the death of competition in industry after industry as the biggest corporations increasingly gobble up all of their competitors.  John D. Rockefeller famously once said that “competition is a sin”, and he was one of America’s very first oligopolists.  According to Google, an oligopoly is “a state of limited competition, in which a market is shared by a small number of producers or sellers”, and that is a perfect description of the current state of affairs in many major industries.  In early America, corporations were greatly limited in scope, and in most instances they were only…

  1. Yeah it begs what capitalism and what competition are they talking about?
As Anabel pointed out there is an economic monopoly.
Banksterism and its bastard baby Corporations started formally in the City of London not in America. There have been money lenders( banksters) since Jesus’s time.

NZ is known for its price fixing. A Telco and energy monopoly and just because the Crown( corporation) uses different brands (companies) people are fooled into thinking there is competition.Just add a commissioner and all the sheeple even think its regulated!

  2. Its a banking cabal, its not “capitalism”.
There was never economic competition when natural resources and wealth were claimed and controlled by a group .
    Its Corporatism .
Capitalism is what they tell you you have, a bit like the democracy lie.
Most people (save a few banking trading elites) don’t have the borrowing capacity of corporation.
When those few can create money from nothing then yeah its wealth in the hands of the few. Its broken economic system as with ALL our systems( medical, education, social).
But certainly the dysfunction of profiting off the work of others is called “exploitation” its usury and that is what corporations and companies all do.People now think as corporations do, thats how the govt( corporation) thinks.
People employed by it become conditioned by it, people are seen as no longer human, reduced to numbers algorithms and profit or loss.
